One small church in Royersford packs and sends 40 shoeboxes full of goodies to needy kids around the world this Christmas! That might seem kind of insignificant but catch this: this means that 40 children will also hear the Good News of Jesus shared with them by the good folks of Samaritan's Purse as part of Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child, transforming the lives of children and their families around the world!
Our Daybreak Ladies enjoyed a refreshing evening out together getting to know new friends & catching up with old ones after a long summer!
What better way to enjoy a summer Sunday afternoon than with an outdoor picnic and fun game of kickball with friends!
Thanks to everyone who participated and connected in this way!
One of our most favorite events of the year at Daybreak is our annual baptism & picnic. This year was no exception! Though cloudy, the weather was cool and dry as we gathered on Tyson’s
deck to enjoy delicious picnic food assortments and laid-back conversations. We gave praise to God for His life-changing work in the lives of Linda, Ally, Isaac, & Aidan as we listened to
their faith stories and witnessed their public declaration of faith in Christ through the symbol of baptism. Helping people change to become fully devoted followers of Jesus is Daybreak’s mission
and that’s what this day was all about! Special thanks to Phil & Judy for again hosting this special gathering!
This year our Ladies Retreat was held in White Haven, PA, where 8 of us were able to spend some quiet time away to enjoy some relaxation, time with each other and time with God. We had a great time away focusing on "Loving Well" and what it looks like to love God well, love ourselves well, and love others well based on 1 Corinthians 13.
Friend Sunday is a special worship service to celebrate our friends
and neighbors in the community and in our work and family lives.
Thanks to all of you who joined us for the Friend Sunday worship and a special thanks to all of you who invited friends and brought guests!
Don't forget, even if your friend couldn’t attend … there’s always next week and then the week after that… ! Let’s continue to see people with the eyes of Christ, develop friendships, and discern next steps in pointing them to Christ.
Our Fall 2014 Women's Bible Study, led by Steph Courchesne, adopted Mom's House in Phoenixville for an Outreach project this winter. Steph was pleased to deliver food, formula, baby food,
diapers, wipes, gift cards and encouraging notes on February 25th.
"The staff at Mom's House was very grateful for this gift and considers it a blessing. Thank you, ladies, for giving to them and being Christ to these single moms!" - Steph Courchesne
