May 23, 2020 UPDATE

Hi Daybreak Friends,

What does the news about churches potentially reopening mean for Daybreak this Sunday? As you already know, we have always considered our church's services as essential and worship in community as vital in our pursuit of following Jesus. But the church is not about the building or the Sunday gathering. We've paused our Sunday gathering but in many ways our church has never stopped connecting, growing, serving and shining during this pandemic.

We are looking forward to moving into another phase of reopening here in southeastern PA on June 4. Until then, we'll continue to worship online and as families. The service above has been customized for us at Daybreak. Feel free to use the worship songs I selected to focus your thoughts on Christ. The lyrics are provided - so feel free to sing aloud and worship with your family at home. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend and are able to enjoy some time outside!

We are happy for the churches across the country that can safely come together for worship. We are very eager to re-gather as well! For Daybreak, we ask you to join us in prayer for wisdom for when and how we resume our Sunday gathering in a way that is safe for all our Daybreak church family.

It's important we remember we did not isolate out of fear, we did it out of love. Love is what guides us, and love is what binds us. Stay tuned for further updates!

"Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony." Col. 3:14 (NLT)
