Our Mission

Since our start in 2000, Daybreak's mission has been to shine out Jesus' light & help people change to become His fully devoted followers!

 

Daybreak is affiliated with the Brethren in Christ, a very cool denomination which majors on helping people of all backgrounds find real life in a real relationship with Jesus Christ!

Our Core Values
We believe in the life-changing power of God.  We expect God to do great things in our lives and the lives of others as we each personally seek a vibrant, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ

We believe that lost people matter immensely to God, so they should matter to us.  This compels us to build strategic relationships with lost people and share Christ's love and grace with them.  We also deliberately train others in life-giving relational evangelism.

We believe that contagious, whole-hearted devotion to Christ should be the normal passion of every believer.  True discipleship is a process of growth in personal holiness and commitment to Christ

We believe that teaching God's Word is the catalyst for genuine, dynamic life transformation.  Lives are changed as people hear the truth and respond obediently to God.

We believe that ministry for Christ must be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.  This includes the use of music, drama, printed materials, facilities, the Internet and other contemporary media - all for dynamic communication of God's life-changing message.

We believe that variety and diversity are healthy in the church.  We seek involvement from people of varying age, ethnic background, and marital status.  We seek for people of all backgrounds to connect with Christ, receive His grace and become devoted followers.

We believe that phenomenal life-change takes place in small groups.  Loving friendships, Biblical authenticity and meaningful accountability can be cultivated best in a small group environment.

We believe the church should work together as a unified community.  This includes the vital concept of teamwork in accomplishing ministry.  We help people discover, develop and use their spiritual gifts for Christ's kingdom.  We also train people in using their time, talents, and financial resources for God's work in our church and around the world.

We believe the church grows as leaders lead & deliberately create a leadership climate.  We identify, train and develop Godly leaders to reach their maximum impact for Christ.

We believe the church should pursue excellence for God's glory.  Such excellence must include high quality, passionate creativity, sharp evaluation, thoughtful change and loving intensity in every facet of ministry.
